The used engine casings are sent to a double-shaft shredder for shredding. The double-shaft shredder squeezes and shears the engine casings into smaller pieces through two relatively rotating shafts. The shredded fragments are separated from the iron by magnetic separation equipment from other metal or non-metal materials. The fragments can be further screened as needed to obtain metal fragments of different particle sizes.
The sorted metal fragments can be sent to smelter to be made into new metal materials through processes such as melting, casting and cooling. These new metal materials can be used to manufacture new engine casings or other automotive parts, realizing resource reuse, while also reducing environmental pollution and energy consumption.
